His 1829 service return in WO25 is actually very lacking in detail. Regretfully I could not find anything useful (in this case) on the website, and admittedly my German is about non-existent - trust me to find the KGL so fascinating !.

I suppose somewhere there must be 'signing on' papers for the KGL officers. Logically, due to the way the Legion was formed, they should be in UK archives somewhere. I will keep plodding on.
