I hope the work on Pulteney Malcolm goes well - they are a very interesting family and crop up almost everywhere. Have you been in touch with John Malcolm, who wrote the excellent 2014 biography of his namesake? I think that he has done some work on the brothers as well and would certainly know where the papers (if not the bodies) are buried.

I'm glad that Selina Shee remarried, and hope this second marriage proved happier than the first, which sounds pretty dire. I don't know about what marriage records would be preserved where, but it is the sort of thing that genealogists are keen on, so the National Archives could probably point you in the right direction.
