You could perhaps check the Lloyd's list in maritime archive (see link), declaring the ship movements and events on a weekly basis. Unfortunately Cape and India do not have specific entry, they appear as destination or provenance.
The Lloyd's register even provide the quality of each ship, reviewed by the insurance inspectors. Problem, review is online for 1789 then skip to 1799
