What an incredibly crass comment, and unexpected from someone who has been represented as someone who values collegiality amongst forum posters and dislikes arguments or negativity.

And as Hans-Karl asked, where is the danger in posting honest reviews with specific details in support of the reviewer's opinion, when the resulting opinion of the book is indeed negative? Why should all the reviews of historical fiction posted here be whitewashed, bowdlerized versions? We are all adults and can handle differing opinions.

You are the administrator and these are your rules. I get that. So in future, I'll simply post links to reviews on Goodreads and Amazon of Napoleonic books by reviewers, including me, who are perfectly free to call them as we see them without censorship.
