Re: Mittau, Mitau, Mitawa, Mintauja or Jelgava?

Ralph and Marc,

I see the issue of using the genitive form (which is easier in French as one can slap a d' in front of a place name and you're done), but to be consistent is important also. The quote refers to the dragoons of Mittau and New Russia(sic)...so I'll probably just leave it that way, instead of trying to give the proper names of the regiments...Mittowski Dragoon Regiment and Little Russian Regiment. Did I get it right?
