Just for nit - picking and science - there was no Charleville musket as suc , this is a recent anglo term describing a fusil d'infanterie M 1777 - which amongst a lot of other places was also produced at Charleville, the most were produced however in St. Etienne.
The term Charleville comes up - due to a re - construced French musket - by Navy Arms, which did bear on the lock the engraving Charleville.
