In Général Colin's 'Les transformations de la guerre', he quoted a saying from Blücher:
'Fichez-moi donc la paix avec vos hussards ; contre ce bougre-là, c'est du canon qu'il faut, et beaucoup de canon!' (Les transformations de la guerre, Economica, Paris, 1989, p. 25)
Pope-Hennesay translated it as 'Don't talk to me about your hussars; against that rascal it is guns we want, and plenty of guns!' (The Transformations of War, 1912, p. 24)
Although Colin is a reliable source, could anyone kindly provide the original German words?
