In all seriousness in spite of my of having to write (which I find a painful experience no matter what it is) at all I would be prepared to give it a go. It would come down to
1 Getting access to the original records of 3 different countries. I would not be content with simply reading secondary sources, I would want to visit the locations of the battles and see the original records. As someone whose found out first hand how difficult it is to get on a White House Tour as a non US Resident (I even have an email from the British embassy telling me the WH website advice is wrong ) god knows how difficult getting records from 3 different countries will be 🤷‍♂️😩
2 Cost - I’m not rich and the costs of doing this as well as time off work to do it will be harder still
3 Never done it before ,what did you do on your first book, any it would be appreciated. Any advice for an aspiring author ?
