the gameplay is quite tempting, I will probably suscribe to beta version.

If you are interested in historical details, not always relevant for the game:

- howitzers were in use by all armies, 2 per batteries. They could fire against reverse slope / bulding, were efficient against building (fire and concussive effect) a bit less against static cavalry (disordering) but much less against infantry (no musket balls whithin the shell). Shrapnel shell were specific to british, and acted as canister with a range of 1100 meters instead of 300. If I remember correctly, they were fired by guns (4 per battery).

- you could assess the possibility to include the Congreve rocket battery, not very effective but entertaining.

- within each french army corps, one battery was assigned to each division, plus one reserve battery for the Corps artillery reserve. Cavalry corps had no reserve battery, only horse artillery per division. Guard artillery was not assigned neither to infantry nor to cavalry, but acted as the army artillery reserve. Divisional guns accompanied divisional move, or were grouped with reserve into grande battery.

- will you include fog of war, both as powder smoke and difficulty to identify unit flags / uniforms from a few hundred meters apart, even with direct, clear view ?
