This book is the best operational history of the period:

A Military History and Atlas of the Napoleonic Wars by Vincent J Esposito and John R Elting. The text is excellent, the maps superb, and the Recommended Reading List is more than helpful for further study. The book was originally published in 1964, but a new updated edition, edited by Col Elting, was published by Greenhill in 1999.
