Re: The Irish Military Establishment 1798?

Meine leibe Herr von Bahr: Thanks very much for your kind suggestions and encouragement. I was hoping to avoid a regiment-by-regiment study (sloth is my go-to state) but it seems that if I want to do this, it will be the hard way.
I think I'll start with the Line regiments, as Mr. Fortescue and the on-line regimental histories are easily found. Mr. Blackstock's work on the Yeomanry is at hand, as is the Yellow Spot, and the evening is still young....
