Both the Hompesch Chasseurs and the Lowenstein Chasseurs, the two units that were merged to form the 5/60th were both already rifle-armed - which is why they were chosen. So it is unlikely that they had any of the 5,000 Prussian muskets ordered later in 1798. Both units were at least partially armed with rifled carbines (weapons of a similar length to the Baker rifle). Some companies had longer rifled muskets. Since Baker was given a German rifled carbine as an example of what was needed it is likely that the 5/60th had something very similar to the Baker rifle when they were formed.
