Actually Caroline, I think its a great idea as it would 'spice up'
the UK Napoleonic re-enactment season.
The trouble with UK based napoleonic re-enactments is theirs
no historical precedence for british and french napoleonic troops
putting on a 'Living history' display together.
But by re-enacting life at Norman Cross POW camp or at any one of
the 50 parole towns. They can stage a Living History re-enactment of
life in a 'parole town' with british troops mixing with discontented
french POW's and perhaps even including a chase resulting from an
escape by french prisoners of war.
