Many thanks for generous help

Ron,

Many thanks for your generous (and prompt) help.
As I said, I would like to know more about Villiers
And the assistance I have received from you and other colleagues on here is proving most useful
I will draft something up (soon) relating to the information I have been able to pull together if anyone is interested
Villiers is I think (perhaps) more interesting and capable than we have been led to believe
Currently following this lead up

But nothing in the only (otherwise) reliable book I have on Canning - Hindle, W (1973) George Canning
