I have looked through a number of Spanish sources, period and otherwise, without finding a renumbering/redesignation. It should be noted that the 'light' units were single batallions not two batallion regiments. They appear to have period sequntial numbering, but are not commonly referred to by such numbering. Sequentially, the two Barcelona batallions would have been 5 and 6.
