Some additional details on commanders with support for the actual battalions sent (also to repeat all parts in one place):
In the Estado militar de España año de 1807 (pages 55-56) list Sargento Mayor et Teniente Coronel Don Juan Francisco Vives for the Primero de Cataluña with Comandante el Brigadier Don Frenaciso Terradellas, then Vives is promoted for in the Estado militar for 1808 (page 65) he is Comandante et Teniente Coronel Don Juan Francisco Vives (spelling matches Godchot's En Danemark: Les Espagnols du Marquis de la Romana. 1807-1808. Paris: A. Picard, 1924.and not "Viver" as on page 16 of Boppe).
In the Estado militar de España año de 1807 (page 57) as well as that for 1808 (page 66) list Comandante el Teniente Coronel Don Josef Borrellas for the Primero de Barcelona and Sargento Mayor Don Felix Prats (again both years). Thus, it is consistent with Godchot's list which has the unit led by "Prat" on the march to Denmark.
This supports that "the 1st Barcelona" was sent as "a 2nd" battalion of light infantry (and not "the 2nd Barcelona") as you, Stephen, wrote ("It actually meant the second battalion of light infantry not the 2nd Barcelona Cacadores") as does page 5 of the work linked by Steve Smith as naming the battalions in Denmark and page 24 upon their return to Spain (used by George Nafziger for his lising). - R
