Good remark. It depends on the place where the cannonball fell between Rossomme and Belle-Alliance and the place from where it was fired.

It can be estimated in Google Earth. ("Afficher le profil d'élévation" - sorry, my Google Earth speaks French ) According to what I found, most places between Rossomme and Belle-Alliance are higher than the places north of Plancenoit....
