undress uniform is misleading, the CaC de la Garde had two uniform dresses, the hussar one and the "coat" - Boney preferred the coat - as for the Grenadiers à Pied - he did wear the usual uniform and not a second or campaign dress, which like in 1806 was the Surtout - his coats had a specially low collar - there he had a short neck.
