Outside the more usual indications, i.e., "ferido" (wounded) or "contuzo" (injured) followed by the area of the body, we can find the following, namely fractures:
1st Gren. Company:
Private Antonio Joze Roxo - fracture of 2 fingers of one hand
Private Simão Garcia - leg fracture
Private António Camponez - Wounded in one arm and in the back, and severe leg fracture
Also, in a few cases, the wound is specificied more clearly, as in the following cases:
LtCol Ricardo Augusto Busche - Wounded severely in the humeral region and Inguinal (perhaps between the hip and femur)
Private Francisco Martins (2nd Gren Company) - Dº [wounded] in the 'Hi]s]femoral"articulation = severe
Private Manoel Fernandes (") - Dº [wounded] in "Scapilo (?) Humeral" articulation
Private Francisco Parente (") - Wounded in the arm very close to the "Scapilo (?) Humeral" articulation
No burns or lacerations are reported as such, perhaps being recorded as "contuzo" or even "wounded", depending on the severity or if there was, or not, rupture of the skin.
