I usually don't believe any news paper articles on history - any longer, usually they are far off the mark and badly researched
according to historian Andrew Roberts. He has unearthed archival material that he believes directly implicates cabinet minister Lord Castlereagh in the unsuccessful 1804 Cadoudal French royalist plot to assassinate Napoleon.
OK - he believes - it - and where are his prooves - he claims to have unearthed? There is nothing in the article that is convincing.
Would be nice to know more about it.
