Yes, however a different account in the magazine I linked. The Royal Military Calendar does have errors. The RMC was published in 1820, while the magazine was published in 1827.

I note that all of the officers commanding light battalions mentioned in Wellington's despatch for Fuentes D'Onor were awarded Gold Medals.

The absence of any mention of converged light battlions at Albuera, in accounts of the battle or in some of the regimental histories, except for Pearson's from the 4th Division is of interest, although perhaps circumstantial.

Carthew never received a brevet for merit and received the brevet of major in 1819 for long service along with over 100 other captains.

Perhaps Stewart either didn't form any converged battalions or recalled them to their parent regiments due to the nature of the fighting he was to undertake?
