I really wasnt looking for "legal evidence".

I was just loking for where the stories about Soult and looting started. I found them first in source who was not an eyewitness, who was not at any archives and who was quite biased and who wrote about 1830.

If you check out the next most early ones, they mention this one. Then, after the sale of the collection, we have something "everyone in Europe knows".

If Soult was really a big thief, I think we could get a little more on him than I found, without it rising to the level of evidence found in a court case.
