I left the book at school, so I can't give the quote or page until Monday. But it is in the conclusion section at the end of the book. And I didn't use the term 'cash surplus' but we can discuss the issue next week if that's OK with you. What I was alluding to in the posting is that you said the subject of treasure leaving France instead of coming in applied to Spain, not Holland, but I don't believe that's correct.
