Schroder's diatribe is merely opinion and not backed up with any facts that are pertinent. Though he lists references (and I've read parts of Caulaincourt, Thompson, a good deal of Napoleon's Correspondence, though military and not political, you cannot tell where the author's opinion stops and material from his source list begins. And to my mind Cronin's biography is much superior to Thompson's
Just because you agree with something doesn't make it correct. You are spending a lot of time attempting to 'prove' that Napoleon was the bad guy of the period. All the summation is that you're providing is British/allied propaganda of the period.
