I moved a couple of years ago and reluctantly "thinned the herd." The return at used book stores wasn't worth the hassle of taking the books there, so I donated them to the library where I work for our book sale (which used book scouts frequent, so hopefully someone who will value the books will ultimately get them). The only thing I got decent money on, oddly, was my record collection (records are currently very desirable).
