Your first error is that Napoleon was born French as Corsica was then part of France, so France was not his adopted country, but his country by both birth and later by choice.
Second, Napoleon is not my 'idol' and never has been. Admiration and idolatry are not the same thing. Nor is he, nor have I ever said he was, my hero. In your fervor to prove him a monster, which is, again, only parroting the British and allied propaganda of the time, please don't say something like that because it is as inaccurate as many of the accusations you are continually putting at Napoleon's feet. In your understandable exuberance at trying to prove the French terrible (in the negative sense) and Napoleon as a monster, don't make the accusations so sweeping that you include modern attitudes and personalities.
And don't forget, I started as an admirer of the British so very long ago. ;-)
Sincerely,
Kevin
