Frankly my intention was to see if a judgement of an event would be more balanced if not contaminated by attitudes or prejudices. In other words to define actions taken as right/wrong, justified/unjustified and so on without knowledge who (in this case nationality) actually commited them.
And I was not dissapointed. You were judging, in effect, French troops acting in Spain and it seems your verdict is neutral. More important, your wise reply have ascertained the vanity of each judgement attempt by emotionally commited individuals, simply proving worthlessness of such attempts.
By the way - I'm quite surprised to see how much emotions are here and seeing ways of proving their point at all cost, even going too far by talking of hate, intelligence or lack of it, nazism..., this only because someone 'dare' to think or feel different - crazy. I wonder if 200 years is not enough for some.
Thank you again,
Waldemar
