Strawmen, Demons and Red Herrings

Don't mind if they are barbed or not.

Point take about Corsica although I am not so sure it is as simple as you state.

Me go after Bonaparte? I have not yet started on him yet, I am still working on his army in Spain.

Lets keep the discussion limited in time and scope to the Iberian Peninsula, 1808 to 1814, which is where it started. You should really stop throwing out so many red herrings that there is positive downpour of fish.

I am willing to produce extensive written demonstrating that Wellington did his best to maintain discipline in his army, with particular regard to the proper treatment of civilians. Much of it I have immediately to hand.

I am waiting for you to produce similar evidence which you say exists for the French army in the Peninsula.

I am willing to show you mine, but you have to show me yours.

So lets keep the discussion it at that level, on the evidence, on the evidence and stop trying to sidetrack what you know is coming down the tracks.
